Bhartiya Divas
Atma Darshan’s exhibition space
at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas held between January 7 and 9, 2005
at the NCPA, Mumbai drew an encouraging response. Over 1,600 Non
Resident Indians and Persons of Indian Origin participated in the
third edition of this prestigious annual event which is being held
in Mumbai for the first time.
Yatras to Kailash Manasarovar, Char Dham, Tamil Nadu and 50 other
destinations of significance from a spiritual, cultural and historical
perspective were showcased by Atma Darshan
at the event. Atma Darshan drew visitors
from the USA, UK, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Seychelles, Fiji, Mauritius,
Sri Lanka, UAE, Switzerland, France and several other countries.
Atma Darshan’s offerings were covered
by Darshan TV, a leading channel in the USA, catering to the interests
of the Indian diaspora.
The exhibition was visited by Mr. Jagdish
Tytler, Minister of State (independent charge) for Overseas
Indian Affairs, several Secretary level officials in the Indian
Union and State governments and other dignitaries.
